Decide your own outcome

Introduction

The mathematical model called TRaining EFFect has been developed over a period of more than 15 years. The purpose of this model is to calculate and predict the performance of an individual athlete.

The complete model shows you how your performance changes during this training. Therefore, the Power and R-R intervals (time in milli-seconds between successive heartbeats) need to be measured for every training.

Not only does this model calculate the change in performance of previous trainings, but it can also predict performance changes in the following couple of days. This way the recovery time and quantity of the training can be made clear.

This model is not measuring the TRIMP (Training Imput), but the EFFECT of a training, making it the training tool that helps you to decide what the outcome of the training sessions will be.

Tmax This is the ability to accelerate. Vmax This is the maximum power. Fatigue 3 This is the ability to cope with cardiovascular fatigue. Fatigue 2 This is basically how much carbs are stored in the body. VT1 This is the first ventilatoire threshold. Fatigue 1 This is the ability to cope with muscle pain. VT2 This is the second ventilatory threshold.
